Preservation and restoration are applied collectively, but they are not the same process.
Preservation is the process of applying measures necessary to sustain the existing form, integrity, and materials of a historic property.
Restoration is defined as the process of accurately depicting the form, features, and character of a property as it appeared during its architectural period by removing features from alternate periods and reconstructing missing property features.
Our goal is to preserve your historic structure and revitalize the artisan construction without forfeiting the unique composition.

As a General Contractor, we provide extensive knowledge of building and renovation including roofing. Experience and expertise permit for a full assessment of roof replacement or repair including assessment of interior damage from leaks. We can provide a full written proposal for repair or replacement and include roof inspection documentation for insurance claims.
Roofs last an average of 30 years, but their lifespan depends on roofing materials, installation, and environment. Heavy rain, intense heat, hailstorms, and high winds in the low country region can reduce the lifespan of a roof. Although a roof leak is the most obvious sign of damage, it is not the only indication of roof problems.
Interior and Exterior Painting
Painting a home is the easiest and most common project to cut corners on.
Plenty of painters will limit or omit the critical process of preparation in order to offer a lower price. Inadequate sanding, improperly filling and cleaning surfaces, or choosing to cut costs by using inferior products - all leave homeowners with a job that won't last and will never look crisp.
